plug any of the above headsets into this PTT for integration and simultaneous operation of 1 or 2 radios. Toggle switch in 1 direction to transmit on radio A - in the other directions for Radio B. Switch includes impedance matching DICL circuit board. Clothing clip on back.

Output cables are available to interface with

The Universal PTT also accommodates both high and low impedance headsets. Radios such as the MBITR PRC148 and certain aircraft intercom systems provide optimal volume and clarity when used with a low impedance 8-ohm headset. The PRC117D, however, requires high impedance headsets (600 ohm). This PTT will switch to low impedance when activated by a DCV signal from either the radio or an external source but is connected directly to the high impedance headsets when needed.

This makes the interfacing of a wide variety of platforms possible using this PTT. The independent channels allow adapter cables to be configured for most types of radios and intercom systems.
