About Us
In the beginning...
Television Equipment Associates, Inc. (TEA) was founded in 1969 and quickly became the dominant supplier of Video delay lines and filters, digital interface and routing systems, as well as communication headsets to professional broadcasters and digital equipment manufacturers throughout the United States.
The growing years...
In 1982, TEA designed and began to manufacture the LASH Communications Headset for military and tactical applications. The range has now expanded to over hundreds of specialized products serving all of today's military and public safety markets. Throughout the years we continued to built up an outstanding reputation with the SOF community and remain a preferred supplier of high quality communications headsets and push-to-talk switches.
Where we're going...
At TEA we are committed to providing the highest degree of quality possible in the processing and handling of all of your communication needs. We specialize in helping you select the right products to fit your requirements and operational needs. Our job is to ensure that you will be able to communicate loud and clear, anytime, anywhere...

This ‘hard driving’ bunch make customer satisfaction their number 1 priority. Today’s focus is on tactical headsets but many years ago we were the commanding marketer of Video Tape Cleaners and Evaluators – Broadcast Intercom communications – video delays – essential for video switching and video filters – a vital component of analog to digital video products. Over the years, we have partnered with outstanding industry leaders such as Matthey, LINK, Racal and Davies – all UK and Elcon, Canada. Today, TEA headsets are the #1 choice of American Special Forces as well Law Enforcement SWAT teams – these are very serious guys who need and deserve cutting edge communications and they have our undivided attention.
