Racal's RA5000 RAPTOR is a lightweight, low cost VIS compatible headset with Talk-through and optional Active Noise Reduction (ANR). Although it's primarily a tactical headset, it is especially suitable for wheeled vehicles or boats with intercom to drive the Active Noise component. This "medium noise" application headset is being offered at roughly half the cost of most high noise, ANR headset with talk through feature.

The RA5000 “RAPTOR” is lighter, more streamlined and more comfortable than the current noise attenuating headsets for “high noise” vehicles or noisy boat applications.

A key feature of Raptor is the "modularity" whereas it can fit under PASGT, MICH, ACH, and other helmets.
